Online Holiday Shopping: HomeSav and LoganLoves
Instead of getting deals on food, yoga lessons and haircuts, the new website, Homesav.com is offering interested buyers the opportunity to get stylish decor and home services at members-only prices. If you like consignment store shopping but hate the bidding process of eBay, a new Canadian company called Logan Loves offers designer goods at consignment store prices.Homesav.com
Like all other deal-of-the-day sites, HomeSav requires registration. Once done, you have access to home products and services including designer furniture, one-of-a-kind accessories, designer pillows and silverware. The site also offers home improvement trades such as landscapers, painting services, and window installation companies.
The site provides two options when you buy a product. You can either have it shipped to your home or you can receive a redeemable coupon for the participating merchant.
Think of a consignment store but online. That's the thought behind Logan Loves. The Canadian company is the brain child of a group of people with access to designer clothing. Instead of letting the clothing gather dust in their closets, they reasoned that they could offer the items for sale at deeply discounted prices.
Publicist Steven Carver says the clothes come from the closets of people who work in the fashion and styling industry. The team will also go to homes and sort through closets for items that will end up on the site.
A quick look through Logan Loves reveals classic items from fashion brands like Hugo Boss, Pink Tartan, Marc Jacobs and Sigerson Morrison. You can search by price point ($50+, $100+, $150+ and $250+) as well. Carver says that Logan Loves ships across North American and offers a flat rate for shipping one or more items.
