The countdown to Warren Buffett's annual general meeting -- more commonly known as the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Investor Meeting-- is already underway.Next week, shareholders will begin making their way to Omaha, Nebraska to learn more about the Buffet empire, and, we suspect, to get as close to the financial guru as possible, hoping his genius for investing rubs off on them.

Since the U.S. economy is like a machine, and capital is the oil that allows the machine to run, it appears that the restricted lending policies are preventing the flow of capital into the economy; and thereby harming the economy.
You cannot run a machine without oil.
You cannot improve the economy without capital.
