The Recall Report It's all about the children in this week's recall report (well except for those who can operate a boat):

Health Canada has issued a recall for Green Toys vehicle sets: Mini Fastback Set, Mini Vehicle Set and Mini Vehicles Assortment Box, due to the possibility of the tires of cars detaching and posing a choking hazard to children.

Each set contains small plastic toys in the shape of race cars, ambulance, police car and/or yellow taxi cab. Over 400 car sets were sold during May and June 2012 at retail outlets across Canada.

Consumers should return toys to retailer for credit and those seeking more information should contact distributor Storz and Associates Inc. at 1-866-747-4191.

The Recall Report Health Canada has issued a recall for the Avigo Fire Rescue Hero trike with helmet and the Avigo You and Me trike with helmet. Both trikes have weak seat welds which could cause the child to fall off the trike.

The Avigo Fire Rescue Hero trike with helmet is red and yellow with a black seat and model number 10705. The Avigo You and Me trike with helmet is light pink with a fuschia seat and model number 10704.

There has been one report of injury of a toddler falling off the trike. Over 650 trikes were sold at Toys r Us locations across Canada. Consumers are advised to take the trike(s) back to the retailer for a refund. For more information, contact Stoneridge Cycle Ltd. at 1-888-220-5604.

Honda Canada has issued a recall for a 12 and 25 litre Honda marine fuel tanks with model numbers M12 and M25. The gasket of both tanks may have been damaged in manufacturing andThe Recall Report could pose a leak hazard.

Almost 1000 marine fuel tanks were sold in Canada between February and Mary 2012 at Honda dealerships across the country. Consumers should contact Honda Canada to receive a replacement tank and call 1-888-9HONDA9 for more information.

Health Canada, US Consumer Product Safety Commission and ISIS Inc. have issued a recall for three Chicco Polly High chairs. The Chicco Polly single phase, Chicco Polly double phase and Chicco Polly 2-1 high chair.

The pegs on the back of the high chair can cause injury to a baby or toddler if the tray is not stored on the pegs. There have been 21 reports of incidents causing injury.

Consumers should contact ISIS Inc. for a free high chair repair kit at 1-800-667-4111 and remember to always store the tray on the high chair pegs when not in use.
