German Fashion House Sells Out of $290 Paper Bags

On a day when the citizens of Spain, Portugal and Greece were on the streets protesting austerity measures, a story about a ridiculously expensive paper lunch bag made us shake our heads.
Jill Sander's $290 version is nothing like the utilitarian bags we use to tote our packed lunches. According to The Daily Mail:
"[The bag] is rendered from high-durability coated paper, featuring stitched seams, metal eyelets (for ventilation, naturally) and a prominent designer logo."
But it's still paper, people! And, shockingly, it's sold out.
