For years Canadians have paid through the nose for the pleasure of shopping online at US sites because the lack of decent Canadian online retailers more or less forced us to go south. What we needed was a simple interface that made the process easy and painless, without the hassles of cross-border shipping and customs charges. Well, now we finally have it.With the launch of SHOP.CA Canadians can browse through more than 320 stores featuring everything from outdoor furniture to musical instruments, books and baby clothes. Best of all, shipping is free, with no minimum order and returns are easy. With just a few exceptions (like food products and travel bookings), everything you purchase on SHOP.CA can be returned, at no cost to you.
And, if you like sharing your personal shopping finds, there are three ways you can earn rewards points on the site. First of all, you'll earn .5% of all your purchases in SHOP.CA Reward points. To earn even more, become a SHOP.CA Trendsetter. Then you'll earn up to 2.5% SHOP.CA Reward points with every purchase. And if you refer a friend, you'll earn $5 with their first purchase on the site.
So attention shoppers: we think this site is worth a spin. If you like it, there's no better time to get a head start on your holiday shopping.
