Identical Products Cost Less at the Dollar Store

I like to tell the story of the four-sided metal cheese grater that I bought for a buck when I first started shopping at dollar stores. The same week, I saw the exact same cheese grater for more than three times as much in a major department store.Here are a few of the current items that are sold in both dollar stores and various other stores. They are identical in every way but cost less at the dollar store; anywhere from a few cents to a few dollars.
