Is that Brangelina over there? Is that Madonna? Goodness, is that George Clooney? Do I spy Ryan Gosling!!?

The stars will be shining brightly, not on a red carpet in Hollywood or New York, but on a red carpet in Toronto with the opening of the annual Toronto International Film Festival.

Now in its 35th year, TIFF is on every A-listers schedule as a must-attend event.

But for the city of Toronto, is all this glitz and glamour a good thing? According to a recent survey commissioned by TIFF, the Ontario Ministry of Tourism and Culture and the Ontario Media Development Corporation, it sure is.
