Caribbean Cruise Ports to Avoid This Winter
George Town, Cayman Islands
Like Venice in the summer, George Town is besieged by tourists in the winter. Up to seven cruise ships dock at a time in this bustling port, so don't fall for one of the snorkeling adventures close to town. You'll see more rubber flippers than fish in front of your mask. Go farther afield to some of the nearby beaches where you won't be alone, but at least you'll have left some of the thousands of daily visitors behind. Cab rides to secluded beaches are well worth the expense here.
